USA - Utah-Arizona - Monument Valley
Monument Valley is situated right on the Arizona/Utah stateline and is characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes. The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation. Monument Valley has a big name in Hollywood. Director John Ford used the location for a great number of his best-known films.......and when Forrest Gump in 1994 suddenly realised his running career was over - he was in Monument Valley.
