HONG KONG (香港)

Hong Kong is a special administrative region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China. It is situated on China's south coast and it's enclosed by the South China Sea and the Chinese border. HK is known for its expansive skyline and a vast population of seven million people, which makes it of the most densely populated areas in the world.
On 1 July 1997 the transfer of sovereignty from United Kingdom to the China occurred, officially ending 156 years of British colonial rule. This gallery is featuring Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Tseung Kwan. March 2013.
